WAHPETON, N.D.
Thirteen Marine reservists from southeastern North Dakota are returning home after seven months of duty in Iraq.
The Marines are with the Wahpeton-based Detachment Military Police Company, Headquarters Battalion, 4th Marine Division. The military says they're flying into Fargo around lunchtime Sunday.
During their seven-month tour, the Marines provided security for the combat outpost in Trabil, Iraq, along the Jordanian-Iraqi border.
The North Dakota Marines were teamed with 25 Marines from their sister company in the Twin Cities, who also are to return Sunday.
