N.D. Reserve Marines to return

WAHPETON Thirteen Reserve Marines assigned to Detachment Military Police Company, Headquarters Battalion, 4th Marine Division, are returning home from a seven-month tour in Iraq on Sunday. They arrive at the Fargo airport that day and then will have a 30-day leave.
During their seven-month tour, the Marines were assigned the security mission for the combat outpost in Trabil, Iraq, along the Jordanian-Iraqi border. They provided site security, conducted combat patrols, conducted convoy security missions and provided security details for the United Nations relocation of displaced refugees program. The group of Marines was teamed up with 25 Marines from their sister company in Twin Cities, Minn., who also are returning Sunday.
