I am a Marine parent and would like some information about my son's new MOS 2141. AAV Repairman. What is the duty like in Iraq or Afghanistan?

I thank your son for doing his job. His work as an AAV ensures others will get their job done. I love maintenance guys. They are the backbone of the Corps.
As for deployed location duties....austere. He is a Marine. He will endure.
A Google search will provide you with ample info. Maybe an AAV boot will chime in.
