I got the Bill Phillips Body for Life book and wow talk about moto. I have just got through the first 100 pages, but man am I starting to shred thoughts of giving up and thoughts of pain during my workouts and runs. Its amazing what the right motivation can do. Thanks to all of you that recommended it. I can feel a change mentally already.

I'd just recommend that you tweak the cardio slightly. The high point cardio (or its cousin HIIT) are great for shredding fat, but it isn't going to do much to prepare you for boot camp and the Marine Corps. Mix in some traditional runs from time to time either as an additional session or in place of some of the cardio you would be doing.

Ok. I had planned to also extend it from 20 minutes cardio to 30 minutes of intense cardio. Do you think that is a negative change?

As far as the runs go...I can handle the 1.5 and almost the 3 mile. If I can drop the weight and build my back and upper body more I can shred the pull ups, too.
