Remembering Our Fighting Men and Women

Marines

In Memory of

Marines
Korean War Dad, I miss you so much.
I still have your Purple Heart
and I show it proudly to others,
but that doesn't take the place
of the pain of you leaving this earth.
I know you're in Heaven
and well again though.
I miss you Daddy.
DeBee

In Honor of

Marines
Vietnam and Desert Storm Brother of mine,
I'm so proud you were brave enough
to join the Marines to fight for our
Beautiful country.
Our family will always honor you
as the only "HERRERA" that ever joined
the service..and more so,
that you were in battle for 13 months..
and came home safe and sound; we also admire
the scars you bear on your body,
because those are scars of bravery
as a True U.S.M.C. Soldier.
We all Honor and Love You!
Nelly

In Memory of

Marine Corps
Vietnam War Years ago, I wore a POW-MIA bracelet,
much like hundreds or thousands of others.
My bracelet bore the name of Gregory Benson Jr.
A California veteran, native american and a young marine.
He is listed as having died in Vietnam.
Each Memorial Day I wear his bracelet
and remember Gregory Benson and all the
soldiers, sailors, marines, and airmen
who died in the name of peace.
God Bless each of you.... you are remembered.
Carol
