how to put on medals.

I have just one medal, and I was wondering how do you put the medal on your dress blue coat? the medals don't come with a pin so i have no idea how to put them on. my marine corp ball is coming up soon so I need help. any help will be appreciated. thanks

Ist off, you got a ribbon. In my opinion, there ain't but one Medal.

2nd, it is quite obvious you are not holding the United States Marine Corps, or the Ball in very high regards.

I am assuming your medal is the national defense one.

You can get a mounting bracket/ribbon bar (a little metal thing you slide the medal on to) and it pins to the uniform between your top two buttons centered over the left breast pocket...

I would also brush up on the spelling and knowledge of our beloved Marine Corps. All of this information is easily accessible online -- just google it.

Aside from some of the words spelled in their entirety, the above seems to have all the earmarks of a text message especially in regard to capitalization. But here's the deal. Not everybody communicates in "text speak".
Did this person get his message across to the readers? I think so. Would this person get a passing grade in composition? Perhaps. I don't know.
Anyway, I understood what itsz4m wrote and asked. I just wish he would have written it differently.
