Poolee it just has to be 15 College credits to join if you have a GED.I believe that is what you are asking about.

One of the classes I took for my 15 was typing, another was arts 101. As long as it meets the minimum requirement you're good to go.

You can even take physical ed classes where you'll basically just lift weights, although they're usually only good for 1 or 2 credits vice 3.

I had one recruiter tell me that if you get your GED and the 15 credits you get put into a different category as someone who got the diploma. I think the words he used were "Tier 1 and Tier 2". He said you get put into Tier 1 with a diploma and Tier 2 with a GED. Apparently Tier 2 people don't get as many options. Any recruiters out there have info on this?

i was told by my recruiter that they look at it the same as if you got your HS diploma if you get the 15 credits with the ged...

With a GED and 15 credits you will be a Tier 1 the same as a h.s. graduate.

Tier 2 would be a applicant with only a GED.

Just to be clear- it cannot be just ANY class. It has to be a college level course. Thus, remedial math and English won't get it done for you. But, history, bio, humanities, fine arts, all of that stuff will get you there.

At most colleges, any course over level 100 will count as "college level".
