BEAUFORT -- It took 2-year-old Olivia Klassa a few seconds to recognize her daddy Thursday at Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort.
But once she got over her fear of his F/A-18 Hornet and the noise of the crowd gathered on the flight line, it was nothing but smiles, hugs and kisses for Maj. Glenn Klassa.
Klassa was one of 12 Hornet pilots from Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 115, the Silver Eagles, to return to Beaufort on Thursday morning after a six-month deployment aboard the aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman, stationed in the Mediterranean Sea and Persian Gulf.
