I just got my ship date pushed back to October 20 from the 6th. Apperantly the Marine Corps. does not want to ship out recruits on the first week of the Fiscal Year. Anyone else get this told to them?
Nope, but it is understandable. The DoD is just getting the new budget money and they want to allocate it before they start pushing recruits through the grinder.

Mine got pushed back 2 weeks, my recruiter told me there is not enough D.I's or something at the Island right now.

No Fun....oh well. I think it benefits me in that I can train just that much more

I got pushed from July to December. Cjcruzi, I most definitely agree with you. 6 more months of PT! Improvise, Adapt, and Overcome! You guys go get some. See you in the Fleet.

You are all correct. There is no shipping until 14 Oct. Lack of DI's is never a problem. It is like this every year.
