In Marine Corps Boot Camp, recruits soon learn that everything belongs to their Drill Instructor, the D.I.. For instance, the D.I. refers to stuff in the recruits footlocker as "My trash"; and the bed where they sleep as "My rack"'
One time when some recruits were all whispering in the bathroom while making a 'head call', a D.I. overheard them, and suddenly yelled "Why do I hear voices in my head?"
