Tehran, 1980. A Marine's website in rememberance

I ran across this Marine at FreeRepublic.com. We served in the same squadron, HMM-165 at about the same timem myself, 1979-1980, him, 1980-1981. He has a website about the Iran Hostage crisis. Probably the most complete work I've seen done on that situation. Worth a look. He makes no money from it. It's posted as a rememberance and as a resource for the facts. Well worth the time.

was at k-bay when it happened...still say the president should have sent a blt or rlt to take the embassy back. maybe we wouldn't be over there now if we would have taken care of buisness then.
