Platoon Roster

Is there a records holding area that maintains a platoon roster or listing? I graduated at MCRD, San Diego in Sep 1966 and recently obtained a platoon picture, Plt 1075, last year after a trip to SD. However I cannot remember or recognize most of the marines in the picture. About 30 years ago a severe typhoon hit the island that destroyed my house and blew my yearbook somewhere into the boonies. Anyone? :(

Search Jostens Publications. They are the people who published the Yearbooks when you went through Boot Camp.

Do not waste the time or money by contacting SD Museum, They have nothing before 1980 anymore, as I spent 3-4 hours there 2 years ago and it was a waste of time.

If its Marine Corps related, its never a waste of time.

Yea Old Marine, you and I remember how things are supposed to be done, but them folks at the museum etc, aint in the Corps or ever been and they just flat dont care.
