Details about the Aug. 7 accident that killed Cpl. Adam T. McKiski, 21, of Cherry Valley, Ill., and Cpl. Stewart S. Trejo, 25, of Whitefish, Mont., were not immediately available, said Lt. Ken Kunze, a Marine Corps spokesman.

McKiski enlisted in the Marine Corps in October 2004, officials said. His awards include the Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal and the Sea Service Deployment Ribbon.

A third Marine also was in the vehicle, but survived, Kunze said.
