I was talking with my mom and she told me I had an option to take some of my senior year highschool classes through the local collage, I have also heard that if you have a certian amount of collage credits you get a promotions to Private First Class upon graduation of Boot Camp.

I used the search tool and I didnt find anything regarding my question(but I am not exactly sure what to search for).

If I could some information on this I would be very appreciative.

*EDIT* I just realized pool-ee hall might not have been the correct forum to post this on, if not could a moderator please move it.

Rains Im not sure but you should learn to spell college before you go to college. Also try spelling "certain" corectly , and at least consider changing promotions to promotion. Just a thought. Oh are you trying to get info as well? Attention to detail.

You need 12 credits level 100 or above to rate PFC after boot camp.

I think 15 is what you need if you want to go to boot camp and only have a GED.

Just to insert a little fact here- if you do get the PFC promotion (through whatever means), you will get E2 pay throughout boot camp. I think after 3 months that's around $400 more than E1.

I am sorry for mis-spelling, grammer is not my strong point so I get vowels and stuff mixed up all the time.

And is what does the, "level 100" mean?

It means if you take (for instance) Math 98 vice Math 101 it won't count as far as the Marine Corps is concerned. Below lvl 100 is considered remedial.

Hey Marine, no harm intended, but "corectly" is spelled CORRECTLY. Sgt(s) have to lead by example.

Dave, up front, personal and in your face. I'll never forget the ammonia showers and choked with my tie when the knot wasn't right. Ah, the good old days. BTW- How you feeling brother?
