I was searching the forums and found very little information on this. So maybe one of you guys can help me out.

I want to know what general knowledge is needed before going to boot camp.
Such as rank structure, Rifleman's Creed, how to respond to basic orders or commands, etc. Just anything needed before heading to boot camp.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

My recruiter told my to learn the rank structure, the 14 leadership traits (J.J. DID TIE BUCKLE), and the 11 general orders. Everything else you learn will obvisouly help you out. All that information should be in the booklet you recieved when you entered the DEP.
