The UPI/Washington Times and now even other news sources report that an incident along the Arizona border with Mexico happened last Sunday 3rd of August about 2 am. The incident was a Border Patrol Officer was held at gunpoint on the US side of the border by four or more Mexican Army toops until the Border Patrol back-up arrived with guns drawn. This apparently happens a lot but is seldom reported but Local 2544 of the BP reported this to draw some attention to a worsening situation. The local represents only non-supervisory personnel; the BP has had no comment to date because it's under investigation. The Mexican Embassy in Washington,DC released a statement that this happens all the time on both sides pursuing 'the bad guys'. The BP reports that the Federalists are being paid to protect the drug runners and immigrant smugglers as well. They are constantly shot at by automatic weapons along the entire border....outgunned and udermanned..."do more with less"...more PC BS !! What is your position on this highly dangerous situation on the US border?
What should we do , will we do anything or are we just to much of a give a damn nation anymore ?

so yes, this Political bull **** will continue, and as long as the federalies keep getting **** for pay, they'll always continue to take the 500 dollar pay-offs.

all this boils down to money. and both sides are padding their pockets, the only people who is not seeing the benifits are the ones risking their lives and thats going to stay like. people talk change but as long as we have these losers in control its not going to change.

Well, I guess it's mute point and discussion but this is a very serious situation where
the best or appropriate action might be excessive force and soon. However, the Mexicans probably will escalate the situation and then we'd have more problems. The Diplomates don't seem to be doing much other than talking ! I have to agree that maybe a month or two of war games on the Arizona border without any notice and an emissary to Mexico saying...'oh yea, we're going to be there a while to run some live fire exercises. The trickle down information will be instantous;Texas and California will be overrun with illegals.........."target rich environment".....? I believe that the USMC
could handle this diplomatic situation with some finese and determination if "LIBERTY" was at stake for two months !! What do you think ?
