Hospital corpsman missing in Vietnam ID’d

WASHINGTON — Services will be Thursday at Arlington National Cemetery for a Texan missing since a 1963 helicopter crash during the Vietnam War.
The Defense Department on Monday announced identification of the remains of Navy Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class Manuel R. Denton of Kerrville.
Denton was one of six service members aboard a helicopter that came under enemy fire and crashed during an Oct. 8, 1963, mission over Quang Nam province. Military officials said there were no survivors.
