i went to MEPS like a week go and my shipdate is sep 7 when i decided to be a marine i sas 220 lbs 5.9. that was about two months ago now im at 199 im hopeing to get to 185 before i go. i did my IST i didnt do to good 6 pull ups 1 1/2 mile in 12:02 and 50 crunches. thought i would say hi :) im hopeing to get my 1 1/2 mile down to 10 mins. i ran 2 1/2 miles at a slow pace and after i felt i was gonna die lol :sick:

Well young Poolee you have some work to do. You need to get involved with your recruiter and get your weight down. You will do only as well as your determination. I wish you the best. What MOS????

well my max wieght is 215 MEPS put me as 5 ft 10 in. im gonna get to 185 before go. my MOS is infantry.
aren't they all 03XX? man, when are we going to see some Motor T up in here? hey kid, just because MEPS put you in an inch higher doesn't mean when you get your official weigh in at the depot they won't correct that mistake. I'm glad you are not settling on the bare minimum with your weight, good decision.

You want to become what these people are... Marines....
They have sacrificed for their country and have earned the title... what have you or I done? Signed a paper saying we will go. That's it... so you really need to stop the sarcastic comments toward these fine Marines.

it's not really an insult I know DavBlay, and when he does that it's with love.
if you can't follow the rules here what makes you think you'll be able to in boot camp or beyond? take the criticism and realize you were in the wrong... if you can't take a little word thumping like that then I feel for you when your DIs get a hold of you kid.
