Many of you know my story and have definately helped me on my journey towards becoming a Marine. I'm very proud to tell you all that as of today I am officially a United States Marine Corps Poolee. This has been about a 3 month process for me and I cant tell you how excited I am. As of now I am open contract until an infantry slot opens. I was given a tentative ship date of October 15th. Lastly, Can a moderator please get my status updated whenever possible? Thank you!

Congrats man. I am sure I know your excitement. It took me 8 months to convince my parents to let me join, but when it finally happened I dont think I had been more excited in my life. I leave for boot in about 3 weeks so good luck when you get there.

Congratulations pup keep your moto. Use your remaining time wisely PT your body and expand your knowlege reading the good scoop we have here to prepare you for the toughest challenge of your young life. The good Gunny seems to think you have the gear it takes to become one of us, and you can't BS a Gunny.

Good Luck to you and listen well to Jim use your time wisely your time is precious once you get to Boot there is alot to learn in a very short time the more you learn now and the better you prepare your body the easier your Visit to Boot will be. Again Luck to and your USMC Career.
