Marines training to support deployed units

MOREHEAD CITY, N.C. (AP) - Marines Corps aviators are participating in an exercise off North Carolina's coast to establish a floating maintenance and supply facility aboard a Navy ship.
The exercise is called Carolina Hornet and will take place aboard the USNS Wright, an aircraft maintenance ship, which is being loaded Monday at the state port in Morehead City.
Marines and sailors from the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point will simulate deployed supply and maintenance.
