Marines release name of corporal killed in motorcycle wreck

The name of the Marine killed in a Saturday motorcycle wreck was released Sunday: Cpl. Jason L. Davis, a 21-year-old in the Weapons and Field Training Battalion, from Giles, Tenn.
Davis' name was released after his family was notified, said Lt. Josiah Nicely, a Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island spokesman.
Davis was killed Saturday morning while driving his motorcycle on Lady's Island. He was taken to Beaufort Memorial Hospital and died at 5:25 a.m.
Davis was not married and did not have children, Nicely said. He had been in the Marines more than four years. Details of the accident remain under investigation.
