So, since I'll be in boot camp through most, if not all, of November what do recruits do for voting? Will I have to send my ballot in early or will we get mail-ins or go to a ballot box or what?


And kinda on the same note, what "fun" activities do the Marines here think the drill instructors will have planned for November 11?

They'll probably thrash the hell outta your platoon because their candidate didn't win.

Absentee ballot.

They might take you to vote as a platoon, but I would just vote in absentee and save the hassles, if you can.

I do not believe they would stop you from voting, in fact I bet they make time in the training day to get that done.

Same for offering church services on X-Mass/Easter.

But, yeah, Sgt, I figured they would strongly encourage the recruits to do their patriotic duty, seeing as they're working for Uncle Sam.
