Well, I graduated on the 20th and have been enjoying my boot leave. I'm ready to get back home. I ended up loving every minute of the whole thing. I was 1st Battalion Bravo 1st Deck Lead. We were the only deck with 2 Drill Instructors....but they were the hardest on any platoon in the Company. I would not have wanted it any other way. I'm really proud to finally claim the title and have never cried as much as I did in my whole entire life than at the EGA ceremony after the Crucible. I accomplished all what I set out to do. I made a high first class PFT, shot Company High Shooter, and CWS2, I have a real feeling of accomplishment. I miss all my brothers already. I cannot wait for bootleave to be over.

To all those that gave me pointers before I left, I thank you. Nothing can prepare you anything, but I was mentally strong going in, and now even more so. Best shape of my life, most confidence I've ever had, and for a good reason, I am now proud to claim the title of United States Marine.

Who were your drill instructors? Is Sgt. Faye, Sgt. Jackson, Sgt. Esparza Perez, or Sgt. Sylvaine still ruling the island over there in Bravo?

Its SSGT Jackson now, and Sylvaine is still there.
