Two Marines die in Iraq

Two Camp Lejeune Marines died Wednesday in Iraq, according to a Department of Defense press release.
Lance Cpl. Javier Perales Jr., 19, of San Elizario, Texas, and Lance Cpl. Kelly E. C. Watters, 19, of Virginia Beach, Va., died in Anbar province. Perales died in a non-hostile incident and Watters died from wounds suffered while conducting combat operations, according to the press release.
Both men were assigned to 3rd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment at Camp Lejeune.
Perales' death is under investigation.
