My tribute to three outstanding Marines.
A year has past on the passing my dear friend and fellow Marine.
Known to many as Nomad aka Sgt. George H. Morrow aka Sgt.Pap aka "ALL THE WAY".
He wanted Sgt.Dad but that was taken on yahoo.com so he was forced to except Sgt.Pap.
George was a communicator by MOS and he was also an Embassy Marine stationed in Laos in 1964.
George and I were stationed with the 5th Marines in 1959.
He in Headquarters Company and I in Charlie Co 1st Bn 5th Marines.
He was wounded on a patrol in 1964 and had to be medvac out of country.
Years back he took some flak from some Vietnam Veterans.
Who knew nothing about his wounding in Laos.
He and his fellow Embassy Marines were facing an enemy we would get to know better in Vietnam a year later "The North Vietnames aka NVA" beside Pathetic Loa.
If you have an computer skills, try entering the name George H. Morrow.
You will find that my dear friend was also a retired from a three letter agency.
Named by some fool in Europe because it's now a crime to name agents of any agency of the US governement.
He was proud of that service.
While he was down in central America, he and his wife adopted a son.
Who now is a US Marine.
The world is poorer on his passing.
We mourn and feel the void left on his passing a year ago.
