Family Day @ Parris Island

I know Family Day is the day before my graduation, which would be september 11th 2008, but thats all i really know. Are you allowed to invite friends to the Island as well as family? And i know a girl whose boyfriend was in boot and she told me some things about Family Day saying that i believe she was going to fly down and stay on or right near PI overnight and i really dont remember the rest because i havent spoken to her in months. Anyone know how it goes?

Yes anyone can come. Just make sure they have proper registration and insurance for their cars and stuff or take a rental or something. At the gate they will tell them. Put them in contact with your family because they will receive a huge info packet near the end of bootcamp describing what to do in all these situations.
