Hello all, I'm looking to join the USMC but acouple things stand in my way...

1.I need a GED: Droped out of highschool and never went to get it.:(
GED is not a big problem because I can get it no problem.

2.I need my ID/SS Card: I have no ID/SS Card, so I go to get my SS and they say, "Sorry you need an ID". So I say ok i'll come back tomorrow.
Next day at island ave, "Sorry you need a SS card for your ID". My question is could a Recruiter help me get these Documents without all this hassle and proof?

3. My Teeth are not all that good: As a kid I didn't really take care of my teeth and now I have about 6 cavitiys. I would get them fixed but I sadly don't have the money for it. Would the USMC still take me regardless of my teeth?

Thanks for your time and answers,
~Pr0digy

PS: I was thinking about the army first and took the test at the recruiters office. Scored a 56. :)

First, follow the rules....create a profile before posting again. Second, you are most likely an illegal alien. Welcome to the country, now leave.

Sir..................since you're new around here, whenever you do this to the rest of us and make us spew whatever it is we're drinking all over monitors and laptops, you have to pay to replace new monitor or laptop. The LCPL thinks you owe her a new laptop for this one! LOL! I can't quit! That was a good one!

Your recruiter can help you get a Social Security card, yeah. My original SS card was lost a long time ago, but he was able to help me get a new one. But to get one I think you need to have a valid state ID/driver's license, among other personal information. If you don't have a state ID you mmmmmight be able to get a SS card still, but it might require more paperwork or info.. I'm not sure, somebody else would need to answer that. Sorry.

I remember when I got my driver's license, all I had to provide was my Social Security Number (note that I didn't have the card, but I knew the number) and my birth certificate to the DMV, then just wait a few weeks for it to arrive in the mail. That's how it worked in California anyways. If you're a US citizen it shouldn't be impossible. I had to deal with a lot of my past personal documents being lost due to the chaos of my parents' divorce and neither of them knowing who has what, but patience and persistence pays off. Don't give up!
