Hello everyone! I just graduated yesterday, 1st Bn Alpha Co :P, I'm planning to wear my dress blues to church tomorrow, and I don't know how to put together the belt buckle, it comes in 4 parts, and I never got a class on putting it together...

Also, I'm not sure on weather or not I have to cut the belt to size or anything... I'd appreciate any help. Thanks in advance!

A tip to keep the ends of the belt from fraying and looking nasty: Hot glue or superglue at the ends after you cut it to size. Hope this helps.

The belt is made of cotton and turns brown when you singe off the IPs.

I have completed the search on proper assembly of the dress blue white belt/ buckle, but what was missing from both this thread and the other one is whether or not to cut the belt to size or just adjust using the "keepers."

If you are to trim the belt to size than what is the correct length of slack to leave.

:nerd: Just want to verify before I cant "Un-F*$#K Myself"

I think that I might benefit most from the aforementioned pictures earlier in this thread, so if anybody has their Dress Blues close at hand I would appreciate a quick snapshot..

Hey SSgtt, you might want to appologize to the young marine. The belt goes through the buckle first, then the keeper, then back through the buckle. Who's the idiot?
