My step daughter sang on TV this morning in a contest to sing the Star Spangled Banner at a minor league baseball game. Seems someone else who works in my building is pushing for another of the contestants, which is fine. However, I thought I would reach to my fellow Marines and see if I can get my daughter some votes. If you have time to go to this link: http://your4state.com/content/webxtras (http://your4state.com/content/webxtras) and vote for SHAYNA, and maybe send to everyone you know and ask them to do the same, I am sure the Marines can push her way over the top. Thanks for all who went to the website and voted. The contest ends today and Shayna has only 2.7% of the vote. The apparent winner has over 8,000 votes. I do appreciate it and Shayna does as well. Win or not, we are proud of her and she does pretty well. If anyone is close to Hagerstown, MD and is interested, she is actually singing the National Anthem this Saturday at the Hagerstown Suns game. 6:35 PM start time. Thanks again Marines!
