2 Marines get award for pulling driver from burning vehicle

CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C. (AP) - The Marine Corps has honored two corporals for pulling a man from a burning vehicle last year in southeastern North Carolina
A spokesman said the Navy Marine Corps Commendation Medal was given Thursday to Cpls. Carl McCauley and Steven Morse. The Marines are members of Combat Logistics Battalion 26, 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit, II Marine Expeditionary Force at Camp Lejeune.
The Marines pulled Homer Graham of Monroe from a burning SUV on Oct. 22, 2007, after it crashed and rolled over on U.S. Highway 74-76. Graham later died from his injuries.
