MOS change question

Well I've been stuck on Camp Geiger since Feb 26th, trying to go into training. However I have stress fractures in my right tibia. They told me that since it is more then likely a reaccuring injury. I might not be able to stay in the infantry field, and they might have to give me an MOS change.

My question is...How does the procedure work? Would I be able to pick another MOS or do I get what I am given? Any suggestions on what I should change it to haha?

With a little bit of luck they will give you a list of MOS's that needs bodies and you qualify for based on physical abilities and test scores. Or they could do you the same as they did a bunch of us and just tell you you are going to ..... because the Corps needs bodies there.
Either way you have earned the title. All MOS's are important to mission acomplishment. Don't sulk around thinking you are less a Marine because your not a grunt.
