Alive Day Memories: Home From Iraq on HBO. And I cant even describe the emotions i'm feeling right now. The Sh!t these people have been through from the wounds they suffered, physical and emotional, is just insane. Some of them had up to 40+ surgeries and years in the hospital. I guess this has been out for a while but I just watched it for the first time, and I am in tears. I feel like a big baby haha. And these are just the few select people that did the documentary. I cant imagine all the other 1,000s upon 1,000s of wounded troops that had to go through the same thing. It just goes to show you the heart that these people have. Their will to fight and the sheer determination and love they have to this Country. Pretty much what i'm saying is, from the bottom of my heart I want to thank EVERY SINGLE SERVICE MEMBER since the beginning of time for their service and dedication to this Country. I dont think I would be here today if it wasnt for every single one of you. I have mad respect for all of you, and that will never change. Now if you will excuse me I must go get a tissue :) :usmc: :iwo:

I watched right before I went to Boot Camp. It made me think a little bit, but basically you just put it in the back of your head that this can happen to you.
All of my buddies would rather be blown up, than to loose a limb or something of the nature.
With all the new technology coming out, and the advances of medicine and treatment. Were in goo hands now, just look out for the sniper, and IEDs and you will be good.

Lol, when it comes to getting all choked up I know how you feel.
Watching graduation videos, watching them in training, watching
Marines in Iraq- everytime I see something like that I feel so proud
of them- & proud of myself knowing I've enlisted into the most elite
fighting force in the world. My recruiter came & talked to our class
the other day- & I watched that 25 minute video on "Life of a Marine",
I seriously wanted to cry. But, being in class & people are so
disrespectful about it already- I kept my bearing, lol. Those retards.
