This is just a warning to all of my brothers and sisters out there. I just found out I was the victim of ID theft. Some slimy dirtbags used my name and SSN # to buy three cell phones, and run up the bills. Somewhere in the neighborhood of $1500.00. I was able to stop the bill collection by pleading my case to the companies fraud dept. They were very helpful. Just for the record i'm not one of those people who give out any info to anybody. I sherd every bill and I never order things online and they still got me. So please try to be safe. They also recommend signing up for a credit reporting agencies, I found one for free I just hope it works. Its suppose to call me anytime somebody tries to make a purchase with my stuff.:evilgrin:
