UPDATE ON 4 POOL(ee)'s

As some of you may know, me and a friend where shipping to bootcamp on June 16 2008. Thats 10 days after graduation. We had a POOL(ee) function this Saturday at our RSS. Our SSGT asked us if we where happy with our days and I asked him if there was any way we could ship earlier (which would be the 9th) He mad a phone call and got my date moved to the 9th, along with 3 of my other friends. I now leave in 27 days and I cannot wait. We're all excited because we only have 1 full day of summer vacation ( we graduate fiday night, have saturday off, then go to the hotel on sunday.)

Man I'm so ready to leave this little old town and earn the title of MARINE!!!

Agreed. I'm going to enjoy my Senior summer, the Corps isn't going anywhere anytime soon. Best of luck though.

Yeah although Im 20 now I wouldnt have traded my senior summer for anything...its the last time you may be able to see some of your friends...like it was said earlier the Corps will still be here in the fall. Id wait but thats just my opinion. O well good luck wish I could leave when you are...

I couldn't agree more.
I was all modivated (not that i'm not now, but you get the idea) to go the day after graduation. But my family and everyone won't be around forever and the Corps will so i'm happy with the decsion I made

well i will only have a month and a week before i ship out. I graduate on May 30th and then ship out July 7th. I can't wait either!! Only 55 days left!!!

Man I totally agree Musto, man I am glad I spent my summer of my senior year of college. And hell the Marine Corps was here.

Me and my 3 friends leave the same day as you except the very next morning of our graduation on the 8th to MCRDSD
