I don't know if anyone told you guys or not but we have a brand new CPL on our site.......L/CPL Dave Haffner made CPL this morning. I am sure you all join me in wishing him well.

congratulations Marine, goto Cpl's course and become a real NCO!!!
they teach you good leadership tools, and remember... when at work you have no non-NCO friends... afterwards is a different story. Remember that and you won't be put in an awkward position or lose friends.

I wonder if they still go through a gauntlet when promoted to Cpl. and can barely walk or move their shoulders at the other end? CONGRATS CPL.!!!

I still haven't gone to the Cpl's Course. Don't know about the other courses but the one here in Okinawa focuses on drill. Been a Cpl for only 7 months now, but I still have no problem knowing my job and leading my Marines haha...Cpl's course or not. Now the Squad Leaders course would be an awesome course to go to!!!
