Yeah my friend told me this so I DOUBT it's true but it is definantly worth checking. He says that after I enlist and serve my time, I can apply to go straight from enlisted to officer. Well this got me thinking, and does this mean somebody could go from 03XX to officer, to flying for the Marine Corps? I always wanted to fly for the military (especially the Marines) but never worked hard enough in school. So when I was thinking about this It really got me fired up.

Good on you doubting it.

Hell, if this was the case almost everyone would do it. Much more perks on that side of the house, and I ain't even talking about money.

There are programs out there though, that will help you while you're in to work toward a commision. MECEP (I believe that's the acronym) being one of them.

If you enlist and get a degree you can apply for OCS but there is no gurantee that you will be accepted

"...and get a degree", yup that will only get you an interview. You still have to be accepted and then pass a harsh training process.
