NOMAD's M1

[Preacher]

As some of you already know, Nomad always expressed a great desire to own a M1 Garand rifle. Also as some of you may already know, I built one for him, and was planning to present it to him personally. However, George passed away. I am going out to San Diego in September for the annual 1/4 Association Reunion. I am also going to Mira Mar MCAS while there to present George's rifle to his son (Corporal James M. Morrow). This will be a great honor for me. I am going to take some pictures of this rifle this evening, and will e-mail them to the webmasters, in hopes that they can post them somewhere on the forum, so we can all look at the rifle and remember George.

George would have been so humble in his receiving of such a gift. And so proud to have owned it coming from his fellow Brother as it will.
