I am asking this question not for me but for my brother who is currently in jail. I know that the Marine Corps has a strict policy about letting people with felonies in, but I know that if somehow that he could get in that he will change his life around wether he wants to or not. It would be the best thing for him, I want to know If there is any way he could be allowed to enlist, I'd rather see him in the Marines than in the army, any ideas will be much appreciated.

The Marine Corps requires a waiver for a single felony conviction or group of felonies (such as several felonies occurring for the same one-time event). However, the Marine Corps has no waiver for multiple felony convictions.

In years past, it was fairly common for judges to put "Four in the Corps or Four in prison." on someone. No more.
I went to boot camp with a guy who had to do four honorably or spend ten in prison hanging over him. I ran into him shortly before I got out of active duty (six years later). He was a sergeant, about to make SSgt, and had found a home in the Corps.
Not everyone could do this.

That's true it takes some with enough dedication
