My check was never cashed. Now I got a long term wife, and 3 grown up kids. You never know. Incidentally,,,, That check is still good.

The check I gave the Corps and Government on 20 FEB 1956 hasn't been cashed and is still as good as the day I wrote it!!! It has earned a lot of interest since then as well.

When I became a Marine, I didn't want to give them "the Check" from a regular checkbook.....I brought a Certified Cashier's Check....didn't want the bank to make an error and accidently not honor the check.
