Matt Maupin's Brother Re-Enlists In Marines

LOVELAND -- On the four-year anniversary of his older brother's capture in Iraq, 23-year-old Sgt. Kent Micah Maupin renewed his committment to the Marine Corps.
Maupin's parents were on stage with him as he took the oath.
"That was his choice to do. I'm proud of him. You know, it makes a solid statement where he's committed to. That's Micah, he's like Matt, he'll never
quit, whatever the odds," said father Keith Maupin.
The younger Maupin's re-enlistment was a surprise for the guests attending the annual Matt Maupin Scholarship Fundraiser.
The scholarship fund honors fallen soldiers by giving their high schools money to give to students.
Last night's event raised more than $100,000 for the scholarships.
