well while at school study and it is at or was at Camp Johnson at Camp Lejeune. If you are not good with computers learn. When I was in we did everything by pen or typewriters. Oh and try not to eat in the mess hall there its also was cook school LOL other then that I couldn't tell you much about the MOS now things have changed to much.. BUT again study hard learn all you can you will be ordering gear and supplies for your unit. And if they tell you you wont be in a unit smaller then a BN like they did me don't belive them.

You'll be at Camp Johnson, but the cooks go to Fort Lee, VA. The food at Johsnon ain't too bad. The SS Marines had a lot of different formations, EVERY day while I was at Johnson. Other than them having the less liberty free school, the shortest course, and the longest waiting lists, I know nothing about the course or MOS.

hey i am a 3043, MOS school was awesome, Camp Johnson is small and Jacksonville is full of Marines! The best advice i can give you is to ask questions. The instuctors there are great and are willing to help! Take advantage of the study groups that they have and pay attention in your classes especially learning how to read the DASF.
