Homecoming For 200 Local Marines Delayed

The families of about 200 local Marines and sailors -- who were set to come home today -- will have to wait another day for their reunions due to flight delays, Camp Pendleton officials said.
Members of the 3rd Low Altitude Air Defense Battalion were scheduled to return home at 7:30 tonight from a seven-month deployment to Djibouti in eastern Africa, where they have been providing security and humanitarian support.
Due to flight delays, the troops are expected home tomorrow morning, according to Camp Pendleton officials.
