Visiting the Island.

My friend (who is also a POOLEE) and I are going to Parris Island next weekend. We're just wondering if they will let us on base (we're both 18). And can we look around? We leave in 2 months and thought it would be cool to go down and see what everything is like. Thanks.

Follow this link for some answers to your question. Note a phone number on the bottom for the visitors center. I could go in to great detail about what and where you can go, but they will tell you exactly and there will be no debate about it. But hear this, outside of knowing where it is and how to get there, you will know very little more than you do now as far as recruit training is concerned!

I think it admirable that you and your friend want to wast your time , but then that's just me. You will get to know every square mile of that island soon enough!
