Ok, will the Corps allow you to transfer money from an existing account in the civilian world to your military bank account? Just wondering, I don't even have a bank account, just curious.
Let me see if I understand your question: You are asking if the Corps will, after setting up a bank account for your paycheck to be direct deposited into, allow a civilian bank to transfer money into that account at your request?
If that's you question, then yes, a bank is a bank, unless of course you are in Boot, then you have to wait. But after boot, you manage your own finances. If you have money in another account or if one of your family members wants to transfer money to you but doesn't want to use a check or money order, then yeah, you coud do that. As long as both bank can send/recieve transfers from each other.
If I may pose a question to you: Why do you ask?

you also can just keep your civilian back account and have your Military paycheck go into it
awbrown, you could but you have to wait until after boot to set it up. I switched from Ft Sill to Navy Fed whenI hit K-Bay.
