Althought not a Marine in this picture, I thought I'd share:

An Iraqi boy takes shelter behind the one person he is sure that will protect him after a car bomb exploded and gun shots rang out.

If that were the case the next photos would show the soldier returning fire and when the scene calmed, the child throwing rocks at the soldier for doing his job....
