I have to do a PME on the history and significance of the dress blue uniform and I am having a hard time finding most of the information. I need to know everything from why is the cover white and the reason to why we were the medals on the left side of the jacket? I have found some stuff like the blood stripes and the collar.
Does anyone have any input?
Thanks

Look up a Harlan Glenn, he can tell you almost anything you want to know on the history of the Marine Corps. Well let me rephrase that he can tell you almost anything you want to know about the history of Marine Corps uniforms and gear. He knows his stuff.
