Asvab Scores?

Ok, I pretty much got the understanding, that once you are in the service, that your Asvab scores pretty much don't mean squat. Cause people pretty much don't go around, and brag what they got on their asvab, and everyone gets treated the same.

But, I was informed by a recruiter, that he does matter what you get, because once you are, and you want to cross-train(used a term like lateral or something), that they go by your Asvab score to see if you can even go in this field. So Asvab scores do matter

ASVAB Scores help along with the GT score determine which MOS's you are qualified for. Do a search in the Poolee Forum and Ask A Marine...this subject has been discussed extensively in the past.:evilgrin:

Uhhh, what? I know what asvab scores are, I'm talking about after one joins the service, why reply, if you aren't going to give helpful information, and just say search, i did search and came up with nothing
