My Marine is coming home soon, and I'm so clueless of how this whole process goes.
I read on a different forum that you don't get an exact date that they will be home sometimes until the day you actually get to see them. That's fine.
Now here's my situation:
My fiancee will be coming back to Camp Lejeune,NC and I live back home in Northern Michigan. I know his cousin and I are going to fly down. I'm wondering what would be the best thing to do plane ticket wise since I don't know when he's really coming home? Buy it a couple of days before he says they are coming home, and just wait till he calls me to say meet him there? Also, isn't there a transition process that they have to go through when they come back before they get leave? Are do they get free time at all during that time?
