well im 24 male from california and i also droped out of high school at the 11th grade and it would take me about a year to make up. Im working on getting 15 college credits right now. but do i need a ged.? some recruiters have told me no i dont need one and some have said yes i do.next thing is that im on informal probation for 5 years and i heard that could still enlist while on it if not ill just go to judge. im on probation for my 2nd d.u.i (gosh i really ****ed up) im just looking for someone out there to take me under there wing and help me out.

The recruiter really would be the most helpful. He/She should be able to give you all the info you need. And they will have the most current information you desire. Sounds like you have had a rough way to go and am trying to dig your way out. Well, good luck to you. I am sure there will be more replies that will be able to help you more then i can. Stick with the recruiter and you should be able to work it all out.
