I can not find any mention of Ist marine brigade, Kanehoe, Hi. I was there in 55&56.

Silverdollar=======I was with the 1st Marine Brigade, Hi. I was there 1964-65 and landed with them on 7 May 65 on Chu-Lai. The Brute was our C.O.

1st Marine Brigade was still there 1977 to 1981 while I was with SOMS

Silver Dollar, I was with E-2-4 and formed the Brigade in March 1955. We had been in Nara, Japan until the Japanese kicked all ground forces out. I was there until September 1956 and was never so happy to leave a place in my life.

I was there just after you guys got there from Japan, I was a Demo Spec. First I was with shore party then was transfered to wpns co 3rd bn 4th mar. I agree about wanting to get out of there.:thumbup:
